I came across alot of websites and forums that showcase my artwork and make available for download or profit without my permission.

Any suggestions on how i can kick some ass?

Thank you all for your suggestion, appreciate your input.

I did my best to contact the admins from these different locations, just hope they will not ignore my request to take these images down.
Personally I don't care what happens to my work as long as no one profits from them. But in one way i have to care becouse most of my work contain alot of stock pics that have their own set of rules for use.

Other than asking to have them removed from the sites, I'm not sure what else could be done (from a legal standpoint, copyright seems to be rather fluid in eastern Europe). Some at least do give you credit and link back to your dA page (not much comfort but it's better than not giving any credit at all). I wish you luck but short of an EMP strike on their server farms, I can't think of a way to force them to remove the images.

I'm sure we have some Russian members who could help write something in the appropriate language though.

its good to see they're not taking credit for it; or removing your watermark..
most if not all actually name you aswell.
i realise that's not the point.. i'd suggest looking for an email address on the sites; and just asking for them to be removed.

Whichever ones are user based - like the first one, write a report to the site owners and threaten them to take it down due to copywrite, I'm pretty sure any site like that has anti copyright theft. It kind of pisses me off that someone is making whole galleries of your stuff without permission. D:<

Ut oh, my worst nightmare when it comes to my works. It hasn't happened to me- YET, that I know of. How did you find yourself on all those sites?

If it were me, I'd be contacting the site administrators directly if possible, and demanding they remove the images immediately.

First translate the sites with babelfish

, I presume you are not Russian.
Contact the site admins along with the admins of rapid share, easy share etc. to remove the download links.
I think that would be enough.

Sorry that I´ve not wrote back on your note, but I am hell of stressed these days...
As the other people said: contact the admins of the site!
The problem is, that I do not really know anything about the laws of copyright in your country and the laws of da whan you are signing in here...
After writing to the admins I would go to a lawyer (at least here in austria I would do so...) just to get the details from someone who should know!
